Before arrival: settle the logistics

Book the elevator if building rules require it, notify reception, and confirm where the provider can park. A small unit does not mean fast access.

State permitted hours, the unit number, and entry method. If products are supplied on site, check that they suit the condo floors and counters.

  • Reception notified
  • Elevator booked when needed
  • Parking defined
  • Code or key tested

Kitchen and bathroom

In compact rooms, a few belongings can block most surfaces. Clear the counter and state whether dishes, the oven interior, or cabinets are included.

In the bathroom, separate routine cleaning from scale or grout treatment. Weak ventilation may also cause a problem that cleaning alone cannot solve.

  • Counter and sink
  • Cabinet fronts
  • Shower, tub, and toilet
  • Mirror and fixtures

Living areas and bedrooms

Pick up cables and floor items, then identify furniture that should be vacuumed under. Heavy furniture should not be moved without an agreement.

In a shared home, assign private and common rooms. The provider should not have to decide who owns an item or whether a closed bedroom can be entered.

  • Dust accessible surfaces
  • Vacuum around furniture
  • Floors according to finish
  • Marked doors and switches

End of visit

Review the agreed priorities. Check areas that will be hard to revisit after departure, such as a bathroom needed immediately or an elevator that will no longer be available.

Update the list for next time. If one task takes too long, make it a one-time add-on rather than reducing attention across every room.

  • Three priorities checked
  • Add-ons noted separately
  • Key or card returned
  • Next frequency confirmed
